For WVARA, Field Day is our flagship event, a chance for members to get on the air, try different operating modes and bands, sharpen their skills, and share amateur radio with the community at large. Whether someone is an experienced ham, newly licensed, or simply curious about radio, WVARA Field Day offers a welcoming opportunity to see what amateur radio is all about.

West Valley Amateur Radio Association participates as one of the nonprofit amateur radio organizations supported by the event, helping continue a long-running community gathering that benefits radio education, emergency communications, and civic service.
